Bio: Dibyadyuti Roy, Indian Institute of Management Indore

Dr. Dibyadyuti Roy (@dibsroy86 on Twitter) is currently the Area Chair, Communication and an Assistant Professor at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore. His research interrogates the intersections of gender, caste, and digitality in the Global South with a special emphasis on understanding constructions of masculinity within these diverse contexts.

With the experience of having taught and being taught in India, UK and the US, he brings a unique cross-cultural perspective to the classroom.

As one of the co-founders of the Digital Humanities Alliance of India (DHAI) he explores technological resources that enable collaborative and interdisciplinary work and co-organized the first DH conference in India in 2018.
